In today’s workplace, you cannot rely solely on your intellectual skills and technical competence — it takes people-skills to excel.  This course will provide you with an understanding of the competencies that constitute emotional intelligence, the business case for its importance to your organization and developmental activities for increasing your EQ.

This is a fast-paced, dynamic course that is research-based and includes viewing of videos and experiential activities. Participants will walk away with practical techniques for developing their emotional intelligence.

The Emotionally Intelligent Leader - 1 day

This one day workshop includes the HayMcBer 360-Emotional Competence Inventory (ECI) which will provide you with the most powerful feedback on your level of emotional intelligence: feedback from those you work with every day.    The course will provide you with a full understanding of the competencies that constitute emotional intelligence, its importance to both, your personal and professional life, and an exploration of various styles of leadership and their underlying emotional intelligence components.

The course includes a full de-brief on how to interpret the ECI results, the ECI Algorithm, target levels for outstanding performers for each competency and practical techniques for improving your performance in each of the 18 competencies of Daniel Goleman's Emotional Intelligence framework.

Anyone in a senior leadership or management position.
